HASSAN, Alhaji Muhammed Ibrahim

Minister of Mines and Power, was bom on April 15, 1947 at Kumo, Bauchi State. He obtained a Grade II Teacher's Certificate from the Bauchi Teachers College and the LL.B. and Masters degrees in Law from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he also lectured in Law from 1976 to 1978. He was the Secretary and Legal Adviser to the Hotel and Tourism Corporation, Bauchi State and later became the State's Com missioner for Finance before being appointed a Minister. Alhaji Hassan is married and has six children.
