MIJINYAWA, Hon. Alhaji A. M.

Hon. Alhaji Mijinyawa was born in Chafe, Sokoto State 1944. His father, Alhaji Ab dulkadir llado, a farmer, and mother, Hajia Hawau A. Kado —all hailed from Yantumaki. Hisparentshave sixchildren. He married Hajia Binta Yahaya Gusau. They both have five children. A staunch Mulism, Alhaji Miyinyawa attend ed Chafe ElementarySchoolfrom 1953to 1957. He moved to Kotonkoshi Primary School from 1957 to 1960. He was in the Teachers' Training College from 1960to 1963. He wasa teacherfor only oneyear —in 1961 before he joined Zamfara Textile Industries Ltd., Gusau from 1964 to 1966. He was a Salesman at the Nigerian Tobacco Company from 19S6 — 74. He laterresigned to establisha business of his own. He has visited Saudi Arabia, Niger Republic, and Benin Republic. His hobby is farming. He is a member of the National Party of Nigeria and represents Chafe Constituency, Sokoto State in the House of Representatives.
