Honourable Aliyu Adamu Ungogo Kano, a member of the House of Representatives, won his election on the platform of the Peoples Redemption Party, and represents the Ungogo Constituency in Kano State. Born on 15th January, 1948, at Rijiyarzaki Ungogo, Kano, Honourable Aliyu Adamu Ungogo Kano attended the Senior Primary School, Kano from 1957 to 1964. He later trained at the Sokoto Teacher's Col lege from 1966 to 1970 and at the Advanced Teacher's College, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, from 1971 to obtain the National Cer tificate of Education. Honourable Ungogo Kano enrolled at the Bayero University, Kano in the 1978/79 session to read for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Educa tion but lateropted to go into politics at the re quest of his people. Honourable Kano worked as an Education Officer in the Ministry of Education, Kano State in 1977. He is married and has two children. Among his many hobbies are politics and cur rent affairs. Honourable Kano has visited a number of countries including Western Germany, Pakistan and the U.S.A.
