GAPSUK, Hon. Ambrose Naanlong

Honourable A. N. Gapsuk was born at Ngaras in the Shendam Local Government Area of Plateau State on 6th February, 1942. He is a christian by faith and Roman Catholic by denomination and was influenced early life by Roman Catholic Doctrines and Catholic Mis sionaries. His parents, Mr. Gapsuk Annoem, a farmer at Shendam, and Mrs. Noekum Gapsuk, had six children. He was at RCM School, Kwalla, from 1949 to 1952 and RCM Senior Primary School, Kwande, from 1953-to 1955. He went to the College of Mary Immaculate, Kafanchan from 1957 to 1959 and 1962 to 1964 respectively. From 1965 to 1966, he went to the Advanced Teachers' College, Zaria. Between September 1966 and 1969, he attended the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He went back in the Universi ty in 1974 for a year's diploma course in educa tion. / Hon.
