was born on 5th July, 1944 at Kasaya in Kaduna State. He studied at the Junior Primary School, Gadani (1951 - 1955), Baptist Day Primary School, Kawo (1955 — 1957), Federal Training Centre, Kaduna (1960 - 1961), and the Kaduna Polytechnic from 1970 - 1975 and ob tained a Diploma Certificate in Textile Technology in 1975 at the Kaduna Polytechnic. Hon Kantoma worked as a Textile Printer from 1965-1977. He was promoted Supervisor in (Textile Printing) Printing Department, United Nigeria Textiles Ltd., Kaduna. As an active trade unionist, he was the Union Leader, United Nigerian Textiles Branch, Kaduna. Hon. Kantoma later went into local govern ment and was the Supervisory Councillor for Health, and later Finance, Kaduna local govern ment between 1977-79. A christian by faith, he married Mrs. Tani Kantoma and they are blessed with four children. His hobbies are football, reading, sports and social activities. He is a member of the National Nigeria and represents Kaduna in the Representatives. Party of House of
