Honourable Bukar Limanbe represents Kukawa North-West Constituency, Borno State, in the House of Representatives. He is a member of the Great Nigeria Peoples Party. Honourable Limanbe was born at Geidam, Borno State, on 24th November 1942. He is one of the two children of his father, Liman Dikwa, a carpenter and one of the four children of his mother, Falmata Kagu. He had part of his primary education at the Geidam Primary School from 1953 to 1956 and completed it at the Yerwa Senior Primary School in 1969. He later attended the Borno Teachers' College from 1960 to 1962 and ob tained his grade III Teachers' Certificate in 1964. Hon. Limanbe became in 1968 the Head master in Gazargamo Primary School. From 1969 to 1974, he worked with the Board of Customs and Excise. During that period, he at tended a number of courses including the Customs Introductory Course, (1969), the Customs and Police Duties Course (1970) and the Customs Basic Course (1974). He also worked in 1978 at the Lake Chad Boat Building Yard. Honourable Limanbe got married in 1973 to Madam Hadiza and they have two children. He has visited the Republic of Cameroun and the Niger Republic. His hobbies are current affairs, debating and hunting.
