One of his father's five children, Hon. Chamberlain F. Abeki was born on September 15, 1939. He hails from Pantani, Bendel State. He attended Upukabu Primary School, Patani from 1949 -- 56. He was also at Esenaebi College, Bomadi for the teachers' grades III and II certificates. Still with the unrelenting urge to be more educated, he attended the University of Ibadan and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classics in 1975. A veteran teacher (1960-1979), Hon. Abeki is married to two wives. They have eight children. Also he has visited six countries in all. Bulgaria, Belgium, England, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Benin Republic. His hobbies are swimming, lawn tennis and hunting. Hon. Abeki, a member of the Unity Party of Nigeria, represents Bomadi Constituency in the House of Representatives.
