a National Party of Nigeria member for Ukanafun I Constituency, Cross River State in the House of Representatives was born at Ntak Obio Akpa on the 3rd of March 1925. He is christian and belongs to the New Church denomination. He was educated at the John Risk Memorial School from 1931 to 1933; Ikot Edong High School, 1934 to 1935, and the Elementary School, Ukanafun in 1936. Between 1948 and 1960 he had some training in community leadership, management and theology. Hon. Eshiet was a manager and proprietor of schools from 1958 to 1969.
