a Christian by faith, was born in 1949 at Shiakpeu, Takum in Gongola State. He was influenced early in life by the disciplined family life maintained by his parents, He got married to Elizabeth in 1966 and they are blessed with five children. He has visited the Republic of Cameroun. Football, hunting and fishing are some of the sports that he found fun participation in his leisure time. At the moment, he is attempting to publish a book entittled "My Episode and Takum Politics '79". He represents the Takum Constituency on the platform of the Great Nigeria Peoples Party in the House of Representatives. Gbaaondo his father and Anasuur his mother. Also he was influenced by the social activities at School in which he participated fully. He was the Chairman of the debating Society and the Secretary for the Current Affairs Society of his school. Schools attended include the Roman Catholic Mission Primary School. Takum from 1956 to 1969. He later transferred to the S.U.M. Primary School, Januwa Kogi from 1966 to 1967. After his primary school edcuation, he went to King's Commercial College, Mkpar from 1968 to 1970 and later to the Institute of Education, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from 1973 to 1979. In addition to the above schools, Hon. Gbaaondo underwent several courses in the teaching profession. Certificate held include Teacher's Grade II Certificate and the G.C.E. "0" Level in History and Bible knowledge. After his school career, Hon. Gbaaondo join ed the Ministry of Education where he worked as a class room teacher for nine years. Also he served the Takum Native Authority as a tax scribe from 1960 to 1965.
