Honourable Donatus Dafuan was born on 30th October 1936 at Kwoor-Kwalla, Plateau State. ^ , n . He is a member of the Nigerian Peoples Party representing Shendam West in the House of Representatives. He is also the Nigerian Peoples Party whip in the House. He was educated at the Primary School Kwoor-Kwalla; Middle School, Kuru; Secon dary School, Kuru 19561957; Higher Teacher Training College, Gombe, 19581961; Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, 19631964Bristol University, U.K., 19731974; and Cardiff University, 19761978. He has a B.Ed, degree. Hon. Dafuan worked with the Shendam Local Government between January 1962 March 1971, and the Plateau State Government from April 1971 to December 1978. He was a Headmaster of a number of primary schools between 1962 and 1964; Education Officer, 1964 - 1971 and Principal Education Officer 1978. He got married in 1962 to his wife Philomena Kande and they have five children. His father Mr. Dafuan Damen, a farmer at Kwoor.-Kwalla, has twenty children - His mother is Nanlang Dabar. He has been to the U.K., U.S.A. and Italy. He is a Roman Catholic and his hobbies are reading and indoor games.
