SOWHO, HON. E. J.

Hon. Sowho, the National Party of Nigeria representative for Ethiope North in the House of Representatives, was born on the 18th of January 1937 at Sapele, Bendel State. He was educated at the N.A. Schools at Orerokpe and Jesse; Government School, Warri and St. Peter Claver's College, Agbalokpe, Sapele. He went abroad and at tended Enfield Technical College, Enfield, Mid dlesex, and the Universities of Heidelberg and Erlanger, Western Germany. He obtained his M.B.B.S., degree in 1965 and the M.D., in 1966. Heis a medical doctor. He was a House Officer at St. Marienkrankemhaus, Ludwigshafen, Staed-tischet, Kronkenhaus, Wannheim, West Ger many between 1965and 1971. He was Medical Officer, Lagos State Ministry of Health, 1968 - 1971; Medical Director, Ethiope Clinics Group Hospitals, Lagos. He was the Chairman and Managing Direc tor, Torsec Ltd; Saro Med.-Ltd., and Director of Ethiope Pharmaceuticals.
