Hon. Garba Musa was born in Jibia, Kaduna State in 1950. His father, Alhaji Musa Mato Jibia, a farmer/businessman has 34 children. He married three wives - Hajia Binta, Rabi and Mur Janatu. he has four children altogether. A staunch Muslim, Hon. Musa attended the Hibia Primary School between 1960 and 1967. His ambition to become a teacher spurred him to attend the Katsina Teachers College from 1967 to 1972. He served as a full time teacher between 1972 and 1975 before changing his profession. He was the manager of Jibia & Sons, a com pany based in his home town, Jibia, from 1975 - 1979. He has visited Saudi Arabia, Niger, Camerouns and Gabon. He is a member of the N.P.N, and represents Jibia Constituency, Kaduna State, in the House of Representatives.
