was born in 1935 at Sayaga Village in Hayi Gada Bakori, Kaduna State. He is a member of the Federal House of Representatives for Bakori Constituency in Kaduna State and was elected into the House of Representatives on the platform of the People's Redemption Party. After attending the Bakori Primary School from 1949 - 1953 he went to an Arabic School from 1954 — 1959 where he obtained a cer tificate in Arabic studies. He worked in the Engineering Department of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Kano, before going into politics. He is married and has five children. His hob bies include farming and business. He is a Moslem.
