Hon. Shuaibu represents the ArewaDendi Constituency in the House of Representatives. He is a member of the National Party of Nigeria. Born in 1951, he is from Kamba, Argungu Local Government Area, Sokoto Alhaji Shuaibu Aliyu, his father is a farmer. He is one of the ten children of his parents. He had his primary education at Kamba Primary School from 1962 to 1968. He then pro ceeded to Kanta College, Argungun in 1970 for his post primary education. Hon. Shuaibu started his career as an ac counts clerk with the Ministry of Health in 1974 and later worked as a Salesman with Jikanmi Ltd., a private company in Sokoto. In 1977, he was promoted to the post of a sales manager but he later resigned to become a businessman. He is a muslim and he is married with a child. He has travelled to Niger Republic and also to the Republic of Benin. His hobby is reading.
