Hon. Jimoh Damisa from Adavbi-Eba was born at Obeiba Ihima of Okehi Local Govern ment Area of Kwara State in 1944. He is a chris tian. Hon. Damisa is a member of the National Party of Nigeria for Okehi. Adavbi Constituen cy, Kwara State in the House of Represen tatives. He went to St. Peter's School Felele from 1952 to 1953, the N. A. School, Kotonkarfi from 1953 to 1954, and the Holy Trinity School, Lokoja from 1954 to 1959. Between 1960 to 1964, he was at the Secondary Commercial School, Zaria. In 1972, he took N.B.C. (nor FRCN) Course on radio production and in 1977 he went for the advanced course On production at the University of Lagos. Hon. Damisa has the following educational and professional certificates: Secondary Com mercial School Certificate, 1964, General Certiticates both '0' and 'A' levels, 1973 and 1975, Diplomas in Radio Production 1974 and 1977. He joined the Nigeria Broadcasting Corpora tion (now FRCN), in 1968 as assistant producer and was sent for a production course. After his course, he was attached to the outside broad casting unit in Lagos. From 1974 to 1976, he was the officer in-charge of the N.B.C, Kat sina. He was promoted to the post of producer in 1976 and was sent to head the music section of the N.B.C, Kaduna where he was finally promoted Senior Producer in 1977. Before making radio production his career, Hon. Damisa was employed by the Nigerian Air Force as a Flight Cadet Officer between 1965 and 1966.
