was born in Zangon Daura, Kaduna State in 1925. His father, Alhaji Abubakar who is a farmer was born in 1900 while his mother, Hajia Nana was born in 1905. He is the only issue of his parents. He married Hajia Nana in 1945 and the mar riage has been blessed with five children. Hon. Abubakar Daura attended Zangon Daura Elementary School from 1936 to 1940. He was in the Katsina Middle School between 1940 and 1946 and the Elementary Teachers College, Bauchi from 1946 to 1948. He pro grossed academically by studying at R.E.C. Bauchi from 1961 to 1962 during which period he obtained his Grade II Teachers Certificate. hie received the British Council Summer Cer tificate in 1961 and was awarded the Social Welfare Work Certificate in 1964. Hon. Abubakar Daura was a headmaster in various schools from 1948 to 1963 and served as a Social Welfare Officer from 1964 to 1979. He has visited Saudi Arabia. Honourable Daura takes to hunting as a hobby. He is a member of National Party of Nigeria and represents Daura East Constituency, Kaduna State in the House of Representatives.
