FAGAM, Hon. Muhammed Ahmed Tukur

Honourable Muhammed Ahmed Tukur Fagam was born on October 10, 1952 at Fagam-Gwaram District of Kano State. He is a member of the P.R.P. in the Federal House of Representatives, representing Gwaram Federal Constituency in Kano State. He attended the Fagam Junior Primary School from 1960 to 1964 and the Gwaram Senior Primary School from 1964 to 1966. From 1969 to 1974 he went to the Kano Educational Development Centre. He was at Kano Institute for Higher Education when he decided to par ticipate in politics. Honourable Muhammed Ahmed Tukur Fagam had his Grade II Teachers Certificate in 1974. He was reading for his Nigerian National Diploma (NND) Administration at the Kano State Institute for Higher Education between 1978 and 1979 when he left in Part II to contest elections. He was an Assistant Headmaster Grade II in 1974 and was promoted Headmaster Grade II in 1975, Before he was promoted to headmaster level, he had been a pupil teacher from 1967 to 1969. He married his wife Hadiza Muhammed on 12th April 1976. They have a daughter. He loves reading and travelling. He is a muslim.
