KOR, Hon. Peter Lu

Hon. Peter Lu Kor was born in 1939 at Adikpo-Nanev in Benue State. His father is Kor Nyamma a farmer at Adikpo village. He has fif teen chidlren, while Mr. Kor's mother Madam Ajire Nyamma, also a farmer, had nine. Hon. Kor attended N.K.S.T. Adikpo 1949 - 53, N. A. School Chafa (1954), N. A. Vandeikya (1955 - 1957), Government Teacher College Keffi (1958 - 1960), and the Teachers College, Mkar (1968 - 1969). He obtained his Teachers Grade III Certificate in 1961, and the Teachers Grade II Certificate 1971. He had several years of teaching ex perience to his credit. He taught at the N.A. School, Manor (1961 — 64), and Headmaster, N. A. School Ushongo (1965 - 66), Head master 1970 — 78 in Mede, Kube, Kendev, Ugenyi and Boagundu. A christian by religion, he married Lydia in 1962 and they have six children. His hobbies are football, volley ball and lawn tennis. He represents Kwande East Constituency, Benue State in the House of Representatives and is a member of the National Party of Nigeria.
