FUNTUWA, Hon. Rabiu Sabiu

was born on August, 6, 1929 at Tama - Mani in Kaduna State. He is a member of the People's Redemp tion Party in the Federal House of Represen tatives and represents Funtua Central of Kaduna State. His father, a trader from Tama — Mani was born in 1902 and had three children. His mother is Hassana Sabiu, a housewife. Hon. Funtuwa never had an early formal education, he is one of the many Nigerians who benefited from adult education. He has been attending adult education evening classes since 1969 and has advanced considerably in Western education. He got married to Amina Rabiu on 5th April 1970 and they have four children. Hon. Funtuwa is a moslem.
