KALGO, Hon. Sani Dandare

Hon. Sani Dandare Kalgo was born in 1948 at Bunza-Kalgo local government area of Sokoto State. He attended the junior primary school at Kalgo from 1957 — 1960. From there, he went to the Middle School, Birnin-Kebbi from 1961 - 1963. Between 1964 and 1968 he was at the Sokoto Teachers' College where he qualified as a Grade II teacher. Hon. Sani Kalgo also went to the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1976 to study the modern method of teaching young children and obtained a certificate in this field. He was a headmaster in 1972 and became Headmaster Grade II from 1973 — 76. He was chairman of the Nigerian Union of Teachers for Jega and Gwandu, Hon. Sani Kalgo got mar ried in 1969 and has been blessed with four children. His father, M. Dandare Bunza is an Area Court Judge. Hon. Sani is a sports enthusiast.
