Honourable Sani Maihula Bagwai represents Bagwai Constituency, Kano State in the House of Representatives. He is a member of the P.R.P. Born in 1940, Alhaji Bagwai is from Bagwai Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State. His father, Mallam Zakari, is a farmer, and has seven children while his mother had two of them. He attended an Arabic School in 1948 and later obtained an Adult Education Certificate in 1972. He married former Miss Aishatu Indo in 1969 and they have a child. He isa moslem and his hobby is football.
