(NPP) represents Ikwo South Constituency in the State House of Assembly. He was born on February 5, 1940 at Amagu in Ikwo Local Government Area. He was educated at Community Primary Sch ool. Agubia and Community Central School, Umuaka, all in Ikwo. He later attended the School of Health Techno logy, Oji River and the National Sch ool of Salesmanship, England. He holds the First School Leaving Certifi cate, G.C.E. Ordinary and Advanced Levels, Pharmacy Assistant Certificate and Diploma in Salesmanship. The honourable member for Ikwo South retired voluntarily from the State Civil Service as a Senior Pharmacy Assistant He is interested in racing, mountai neering, swimming and reading and has his philosophy of life as "Progress". He has travelled to Chad Republic and the Camerouns. He is married with eight children. He is Deputy Chief Whip.
