Dr. Olubayo Ayotunde Idowu was born on January 9, 1951 in his home town Ibadan, Oyo State. He represents Oluyole Federal Constituency in the Assembly. Dr. Idowu started his education at Papa Methodist Primary School in 1958 and left in 1963. Between 1964-1968, he was at the Methodist High School,Ibadan and went on to Ibadan Grammar School 1969-1970 for the Higher School Certificate Course. He attended the University of Ibadan from 1970-1976 and qualified as a medical doctor. In 1980, he proceeded to the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom for a specialist course and qualified in 1984. He is the Consultant Physician at Ring Road State Hospital, Ibadan. Dr. Idowu is married and blessed with four children. His main interest is in sports.
