Mallam Aminu Ibrahim Idris represents Gezawa Federal Constituency in the Constituent Assembly. He was born on January 3, 1950 in his home town, Gezawa, Kano State. He obtained B.Sc. (Political Science) in 1977 and Master's degree in Public Administration in 1982. Mallam Idris has held various responsible positions in Government. He was Secretary, Kano State Tenders Board; Sole Administrator, Kano Municipal Local Government and currently Director of Educational Services, Military Governor's Office, Kano. He is married and blessed with six children. His hobbies are sports, travelling and reading.
