Mr. Joseph Inyambe Igbe is an elected member representing Ogoja Federal Constituency of Cross River State. He was born on April 11, 1937 in Ishibori, Ogoja Urban, Cross River State. He obtained the Standard Six Certificate in 1952 from Ben's Primary School Ogoja and the West African School Certificate from Mary Knoll College, Okuku Ogoja in 1958. He attend ed National University of Ireland, Cork where he obtained a B.A. (Hons) degree in 1960. Mr. Igbe is a retired school principal, former Executive Member of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) from 1978-1979 and Director, New Nigerian Newspapers Limited from 1985 to date. He is now a farmer, contractor and distributor of goods. Mr. Igbeis married with six children. His hobbies are table tennis and lawn tennis.
