IGUBE, Mr. Dogara Macauley

was born in July 2, 1949. He attended Primary Schools at Gidan Ausa his hometown in Obi L.G.C. and Awonge between 1958 and 1966. In 1967, he gained admission into Government Secondary School, Lafia, from where he obtained his West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1971. He then proceeded to Government College, Keffi in January, 1972 for his Higher School Certificate (HSC). After his H.S.C. he entered the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 1973 and sub sequently graduated B.A. (Ed) with specialization in History. During his National Youth Service Year, 1966-77, he taught at Kabba Teachers' College, Kwara State, after which he came back to the State and taught for seven months at the Government College, Keffi. He was reposted in March, 1978 to the Inspectorate Division of the Plateau State Ministry of Education, until he resigned the following year for politics. He was appointed Commis sioner for Social Welfare, Youth, Sports and Culture in October, 1979. He is married with three daughters and one son.
