(NPP) was born on July 4, 1932, at Isunjaba inNkwere/Isu Local Government Area. He had his educa tion at St. Joseph's School, Isunjaba, 1942-48; Bishop Shanahan College, Orlu 1949; St. Peter Calver's Semi nary, Okpala, 1950-53; Fourah Bay College, Freetown, Sierra-Leone, 1957-62. He holds B.A. (Classisc) and Diploma in Education in Education. He was Principal of Isu Grammar School, Isu, 1963-72; Principal, St. Michael's Secondary School, Orsu Obodo, 1973-74; Principal, Obollo High School, Obollo-Eke, 1975-76; Chairman, Nkwerre Divisional Coun cil, 1971-72; Chairman, Nkwerre Divi sional Council, 1975-76; Chairman, Nkwerre/Isu Local Government Coun cil, 1977-79. He was also a member of the former Board of Directors, Imo Broadcasting Service. He is mar ried and has children. His philosophy is "Fairplay, Justice and Service to humanity." Mr. Ikemezie is the GNPP leader in the House.
