Professor Ikonne attended Manila Central University, Philippines, where he graduated with the Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree. He also attended Saint Jude College in Manila, Philippines, for his Masters in Hospital Administration (MHA) and later obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Health Sciences also from the institution Professor Eleazar Uchenna Ikonne’s professional relevance, viability and resourcefulness warranted his national recognition and appointment as: • Member, National Universities Commission (NUC) Accreditation Teams • Chairman/Team Leader, National Universities Commission (NUC) Accreditation Team, 2008 • Chairman, National Universities Commission (NUC) Investigation Panel to the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
