Alhaji Basiru Olayiwola Ishola represents Oyo East, Federal Constituency in the Assembly. He was born on December 10, 1936 in his home town, Oyo in Oyo State. He was a Grade II teacher before going to read Law at the University of Ife, (Obafemi Awolowo University) lle-lfe. He graduated in 1970, and was called to the Bar in 1971. He also has a post graduate Diploma in Public Administration and an International Certificate in Personnel Management. He is now a private legai practitioner and married with nine children — 7 males and 2 females. Alhaji Ishola was the First Executive Secretary and Chairman Board of Governors of Ajawa Community School from 1981 to 1983. Reading and farming are his hobbies.
