Mr. Zakariya Jabu is an elected member representing Sawa Federal Constituency of Gongola State. He was born on January 15, 1945 in Dandikulu. He hails from Pupule in Gongola State. He attended Teachers' College, Waka, from 1968 to 1971 where he obtained his Teachers' Grade Two Certificate. He obtained a Diploma in Local Government Administration from Kaduna Polytechnic in 1985. He is a civil servant. Mr. Jabu is married with nine children. His hobbies include reading novels, gardening and playing tennis.
