Mr Abdullahi Lawal Jibia was born in his home town, Jibia in Katsina State in January 1949. After his primary education, he attended Teachers' Colleges where he obtained the Grades III and II Certificates and the National Certificate of Education (NCE) in 1967, 1974 and 1978 respectively. He later obtained the Bachelor of Education in 1983. He was a one time Secretary to the defunct Jibia Local Government in the old Kaduna State. Mr. Jibia is an elected member of the Constituent Assembly representing Jibia Federal constituency of Katsina State. He is married and blessed with fourteen children. His hobbies are reading and swimming.
