JUTA ,Mr. B.W.

Deputy Governor, Gongola State, comes from Pakka, Maiha in Mubi Local Government Area of Gongola State. He was born sometime in 1944 and spent his early life helping his parents on the farm and looking after his father's sheep and goats. He had his Primary Education a Junior Primary School Pakka, 1954- 55, Bangshika Primary School in Gombi Local Government Area, 1956- 57 and Pella Senior Primary School 1958-60. From 1961-65 he attended Numan Teachers'College. After his Grade 11 Certificate course he headed Pakka Primary Schoolfrom January 1966 and by August he left for the U.S. for further studies. In the United States lie attended Waldorf College in Forestcity, Iowa State, for a Diploma course after which he transferred to Concordia College, Moorhead in Minnesota State for a B.A. degree whichhe completed ^ in 1969. He farther attended the University of Iowa in Iowacity for post graduate studies and by 1971 had obtained his M.A. degree. Oncompletion of his studies in the U.S. Mr. Juta taught at Proviso High School in Maywood, Chicago from February 1971 to June 1971. On his return to Nigeria, Septem ber 1971, he was made the Vice Prin cipal of HongSecondary School, then under the L.C.C.N. In 1972 he took over the Principalship of the school and remained in that position up to July 1977 when he was transferred to Government Secondary School Jalingo Mr. Juta resigned from the post of „ Principal Government Secondary Sch ool Jalingo in December 1978 and ~~$ entered active politics. He is married with three children. His hobbies include gardening and reading.
