KAFIN-HAUSA,ABDULLAHI UMAR

Mr. Umar Kafin-Hausa, was born in his home town, Kafin Hausa on November 1, 1953. He attended the Kafin-Hausa Central Primary School before going to the Government Secondary School, Hadejia where he obtained the West African School Certificate in 1971. In 1976, he obtained a Degree in Hausa and a Certificate in Education from the Ahmadu Bello University, Kano Campus. In 1985, he got a Master's degree in African language also from Ahrnadu Bello University, Zaria. He is now a Research Fellow/Lecturer at the Kano State College of Arts, Science and Remedial Studies. Mr. Kafin-Hausa is an elected representative of Bulangu/Kafin-Hausa Federal Constituency of Kano State and is married with nine children. His hobbies are reading and hunting.
