Mr Babale Kyung Maikarfi is an elected member of the Assembly, representing Jema'a North Federal Constituency of Kaduna State. He was born on July 31, 1942 in his Fadan Kagoma Village of Kaduna State. After a successful primary and secondary education, as well as an Advanced Teachers' Course, Maikarfi went to the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree in 1975. Between 1977 and 1979, he was a post graduate student of the University of Jos where he obtained a Master's degree in Educational Psychology. Currently, he is the Dean of Education, College of Education, Kafanchan. He is married with six children and likes debating and travelling.
