MARAFA, Sen Kabir Garba

Kabir Garba Marafa- a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was born on September 16, 1960. He is an indigene of Zamfara State. Kabir Garba Marafa attended Kaduna Polytechnic where he graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Chemical Engineering. He is married. Kabir Garba Marafa was previously a commissioner in Zamfara State. He defected from the PDP- Peoples Democratic Party to the ANPP- All Nigerian Peoples Congress just before the 2011 elections and contested for the senatorial seat in Zamfara Central senatorial District. He won the then incumbent- Senator Hassan Muhammed Nasina- also known as Hassan Gusau who contested under the platform of the PDP. Kabir Garba Marafa again contested for the seat under the Platform of the APC-All Progressive Party in the 2015 elections and won as the Senator representing Zamfara Central Senatorial District.
