Dr. Umar Mohammed, a nominated member of the Constituent Assembly, was born on February 2, 1947 in Maiduguri, Borno State. Apartfrom his primary and secondary educa tional qualifications, Dr. Umar also has B.A, MA, and Ph.D degrees. A former university associate professor, he is presently a communications consultant. Dr. Mohammed is married with children and his hobbies are tennis and reading.
