Mr. Abubakar Mustapha, an elected member of the Assembly, represents Makarfi Federal Constituency of Kaduna State. He was born on April 10, 1950, in Soba, but Makarfi in Kaduna State, is his home town. He attended Barewa College, Zaria from 1964 to 1968, where he obtained his WASC in Division One. He was in Government College, Kaduna for his HSC from 1969 to 1970. He also attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from 1971 to 1974 and graduated with a B.Sc. degree in Political Science. He is a civil servant. Mr. Mustapha is married with six children and his hobbies are reading and travelling.
