(NPP) was born on April 24,1939 at Ohanku Ikwuorie, Ndoki in Ukwa Local Government Area. He was educated at St. Simon's School, Ohanku, Ndoki. From 1959 - 1960, he worked as a sales clerk in P.Z.&Company Limited Port-Harcourt. From 1960 - 1963 he worked with CFAO as a sales clerk. In 1964, he transferred to Texaco Nigeria Limited as salesman. He was later appointed agent, Texaco Filling Station, Port-Harcourt. After the Nigerian civil war, hebecame agent for Pfizer Livestock Feeds Limited, Aba. Mr. Nweke is also a registered building contractor. He is the managing director of I.C. Nweke & Sons Group of Companies, Aba. He had served his people in different capacities. He was one of the founders of Ikwuorie Ohanku Secondary School; chairman, Ndoki Welfare Association (Aba branch). He is also a member of Ukwa Leaders of Thought. Heis interested in selfless service to his people. Mr. Nweke is married and has six children.
