NWOGU, Sen. Olaka Johnson

Olaka Nwogu was born on 26 January 1965. He attended LA school, Apapa Lagos in 1975 and proceeded to Stella Maris College, PH in 1980 where he obtained his WASC. Nwogu leter graduated with a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Port Harcourt and later procured a master's degree in Business Administration from the institution. He served as Mayor (chairman) of Eleme local government area in Rivers State. He was elected to the House of Representatives from 1999 until 2011 under People's Democratic Party. He represented the constituency of Tai–Eleme–Oyigbo. Nwogu has also ventured into business. He is currently the owner of Landmark Hotel in D-line and Hinterland Construction Company in Eleme.
