After his primary school education at Methodist School, Enugu, he attended the Ogan Institute of Technology, Port Harcourt and the Nigerian Institute of Technology, Asaba. He holds the Final Certificate of the City and Guilds of London and the A.E.B. of London. Mr. Ogbodo has been in private business as a contractor in building, construction, and general supply of goods. He is interested in football, dancing and letter writing and has travelled all over Nigeria. He was a member of Enugu Local Government Council be fore his election to the House of Assembly. He is married with three children.
