Expertise in research, information gathering, writing and reporting of news stories in a very accurate and socially sensitive manner as well as in developing new and interesting story ideas based on the latest events or issues. A fast thinker with a clear speaking voice, and vast knowledge of current affairs. A recognized co-host on the largest political program (Sunrise Daily) in Nigeria. Served as a host of a conversation on the UN @ 75, whose special guest was the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations (2020).

Her drive to go with her passion for presenting brought her into the broadcast industry in 2007. Maupe joined Channels in 2009 as a News presenter and Reporter where she’s worked on the International desk, producing and presenting programmes like The World Today and Diplomatic Channel.

Maupe believes she’s not yet her at her peak until she interviews the president of the United States Of America.For her,that will mean fulfillment. She’s currently a co-host on Channels’ hottest news and current affairs programme, Sunrise Daily
