Engineer

(NPP) was born on November 10, 1930 at Amaniyi Village in the Etiti Local Government Area. He was educated at St. Theresa's School Amainyi, and St. Patrick's College Calabar, where he obtained the First School Leaving Certificate and Cambridge School Certificate respectively. He also attended College of Aeronautical Engineering London; University of California, Los Angeles and the California State University, Los Angeles. He has Diploma Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor's Degree in Technical Education and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Motor Industry. Mr. Ogwuegbu served in various capacities in the Public Service. He was clerk in the Treasury be fore leaving the country for further studies. He later became an Assistant lecturer in Mechanical Engineering; Principal, Trade Centre, Enugu and Chief Federal Inspector of Education. He retired from the public service in December 1978. He is married and be lives in hardwork and fair play. He published a book on "Comparative Technical Education Abroad.
