Imo State Chief Godson Ebonine Chukwuemeka Ohiaeri is a renowned Agriculturists who has worked hard unobtrusively for the development of agricultural industry in Nigeria. People of this high career post who do not make noise about theirjob and strategic positions they hold in the country's economic system are scarcely known. Their products and achievements speak for them. This is a great Scientific man who has done a lot at the international level for the development and improvement of food production and longs for his country to benefit from the modern achievements in science and agriculture, the mainstay of every country's economy. EMEK (Heifer Israel) Certificate in Agric Development in Rural Community Borgo-a- Mozzano ( Italy) • Certificate in Advanced Management ASCON Badagry Lagos Job Experience • Scientist Federal Ministry of Science and Technology and held positions at various limes • Assistant Director, a position he held until he disengaged in 1992 Contributions to the Growth of Agriculture in Nigeria • Contributed immensely to the Publication of Ecological Disasters in Nigeria 1986 Headed a Team on NCR] Rice Scientists to produce a Grow ing Rice in West Africa ( Adapted from the Publications. Vergeras Edition) influenced rural Agricultural development in Nigeria in which today the agricultural sector is experiencing significant positive changes. Cambridge England Contributions to the Local Community • Assisted wilh the attraction of some social amenities that have impacted positively on enhancing the life of the local people. Consequently the community honoured him with Chieftaincy Titles; prominent among them is the one from Anara Osu in 2002.
