He is today, one of the leading industrialists, haulage and business entrepreneurs in Igboland. a very dynamic and forward looking and creative industrialist with international repute. His Business Empire has extended beyond ihe shores of Nigeria. Bui it did not begin that big. It has a modest beginning and a true challenge and also a clear motivation for the Youths to work hard and trust God to bless them. What looked like a formidable obstacle in Chief Eugene Ojukvvu's early life was an opportunity for God lo bless him and the entire humanity today. Education • Primary education suffered a set back by the death of his father. • Uncle Mr. Francis Chukwujekwu. ( in the true and traditional Igbo Spirit of Nwanne) took up the challenge and put Eugene to school at St Dominic's Catholic Primary School Funtua. Kaduna State 1956 I960 • Sponsored him at St John's Boys Secondary School Kaduna 1961 1965. Job Experience • At 18. Eugene took up Job as a Produce Buying agent and made a little fortune • Business flourished and young Eugene bought a truck which enhanced his business chances. • Misfortune of the Civil War of 1967 1970 destroyed the fledging business of the young man but did not trash his zeal and hope. • Took up appointment with C. Moore Obioha Son & Co . rose to be Finance Officer • Promoted to Credit Operations Manager and later a Branch Manager of the entire Lagos environ as result of hard work, commitment, honesty and devotion. • After a peaceful parting, from C. Moore Obioha Son & Co. young Eugene set up his own business again with blessings and prayers from his employer. • Currently, he is the Chairman and CEO of Ekesons Group of Companies a conglomerate comprising the following • E. State Government and Local Government recognition and respect. From 1st July 1988, he secured the regularization of LUBOAN's rights to use the Iddo Park in Lagos.
