He has a distinguished and brilliant academic career and has quietly carried out intensive and productive research for many years. He is one of the most prominent names today in the area of nuclear physics and engineering. He is one of the first few Blacks to make a First Class Honours Degree in the field of Physics and Engineering from the University of London. He was born on 26th July, (Afo) 1939 and hails from Amawbia in Anambra State. He is one of the silent great Igbo Icons of knowledge and wisdom.
