OMEKE, (DR.) Benjamin Chigozie

Dr. Benjamin Chigozie Omeke, an elected member, represents Igbo Eze Federal Constituency, Anambra State. He was born in Unadu in Igbo Ezeon August 28, 1949. He holds a West African School Certificate (1965); the General Certificate of Education 'A' Level (1972); a Bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Nairobi, Kenya (1978) and M.Sc. from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland (1984). Dr. Omeke is a lecturer in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is also a livestock production consultant and farmer. He is the current Chair man, Boards of Governors of Community Secondary School, Itchi Igbo Eze LGA and Basic Health Center, Unadu. He is married with six children. His hobbies are visiting, farming and research.
