Dr. Elemuo Onwuka, an elected member, represents Okigwe North Federal Constituency, Imo State. He was born in Nneato, Okigwe Imo State on March, 28, 1943. He obtained the West African School Certificate from the College of Immaculate Conception, Enugu in 1962; G.C.E. 'A' Level from Federal School of Science, Lagos in 1964 and M.B.B.S. from Medical Academy, CRACOW, Poland in 1973. He qualified as a specialist surgeon by his election into the Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, Ireland in 1981. Dr. Onwuka is a private medical practitioner and was a member of Imo State House of Assembly from October 1983 to December 1983. He is married with three children. His hobby is farming.
