ONWUZULIKE, Hon. Dennis Madu

Honourable Dennis Madu Onwuzulike, a christian, was born at Eziagu town, Anambra State on October 18, 1934. He is one of the five children born by Mr. and Mrs. T. A. On wuzulike. Hon. D.M. Onwuzulike attended St. John's C.M.S. Gudi, Plateau State in 1940 - 1945 before leaving for the Holy Trinity Primary School, Kafanchan. By 1946 he was at St. George Anglican School, Zaria. Between 1947- 1954 he attended the C.M.S. Grammar School Lagos where he obtained his Cam bridge School Certificate. Between 1963 and 1974 he obtained a diploma in Journalism and in Marketing. He served in different capacities in the operating and commercial Department of the Nigeria Railway Corporation, from 1955 — 1966. Before opting for politics, Hon. Onwuzulike had served in various managerial capacities with Hagemeyer (Nigeria) Limited, his last post being the Stores and Transport Manager of the Company. His wife Caroline Onwuzulike has six children. They were married in August 1960. Honourable Onwuzulike has visited Britain, Holland, Germany and Switzerland and he likes travelling, reading and music. He is a member of the Nigeria Peoples Party and represents Aguata North East Constituen cy, Anambra State, in the House of Represen tatives.
