Dr. Abdu Salihi, an elected member, represents Rano Constituency, Kano State. He was born in Kibiya, Rano Local Government Area on October 25, 1954. He attended Government Secondary School, Birinin Kudu, 1968-72; Ahmadu Bello Univer sity, Zaria, 1973—1978, where he obtained B. Eng. (Mech) and the University of Technology, Loughborough, United Kingdom, 1979—83 for M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. Dr. Salihi is a lecturer in Engineering, Faculty of Technology, Bayero University, Kano. He is married with two daughters. His hobbies are lawn tennis and badminton.
