Mr. Ahmad Bawa Shanono, an elected member, represents Shanono Federal Constituency of Kano State. He was born on December 6, 1953 in Shanono his home town. He attended Shanono Primary School from 1963 to 66 and Gwarzo Boarding Primary School from 1967 to 1969. Between 1970 and 1974, he was at the Teachers' College, Bichi. For his post Secondary Education, he attended Advanced Teachers' College, (Ahmadu Bello University), Zaria from 1975 to 1978 and Bayero University, Kano, from 1981 -84. He is a school principal. Mr. Shanono is married with six children. His hobbies are farming and animals rearing.
